Do I pay Junk my Car for removing my junk car?
Junk my Car is a free junk vehicle removal service. We do not charge you for removing your junk car.
How quickly will Junk My Car remove my junk car?
A towing company will be in touch with you within 48 hours once you submit your vehicle for removal. Once contacted you will then arrange a date and time to pick up your junk vehicle; which in many cases can be the same day.
Do I need a title in order to junk my car?
We are able to remove vehicles without titles throughout the US States and Canada.

Do you remove junk cars for free, even if they are damaged or missing parts?

It varies per tower and their ability to remove junk cars without tires, etc. The best course of action that you can take is to submit your vehicle for removal and ask our junk car removal specialists whether or not your junk car can be removed for free. If we can't remove it for free, there might be an affordable alternative.
Do you remove motorcycles, campers, and other non-conventional vehicles?
Yes. We are able to remove many other types of vehicles such as motorcycles, trailers, heavy equipment, motor homes, and boats.
Do I need to be present when the junk car is removed?
In most cases, you will not need to be at your vehicle when it is removed. You should be able to leave all required documents inside the vehicle. The tower can then take the vehicle without you being present. Generally, the only time you would need to be with the vehicle is if the vehicle is in a gated community or in the garage.
I have the title to the car, but the car is in a different location. Can you still remove it?
Yes. We are often able to remove vehicles in all types of situations, including when a title is in a different location than the vehicle.
What if I have more than one vehicle, can Junk my Car still help me?
Yes, if you have multiple vehicles you will have to enter them into our website one-by-one. This way you will get a unique Claim ID for each vehicle that you can use to track its progress.
Can I junk my car even if I have unpaid parking tickets?
Yes, your parking tickets will not prevent you from junking your vehicle. Parking tickets are connected to your drivers license and are your responsibility for paying them off.
Can you remove cars off the highway?
In most cases, we can remove a vehicle off of highways and interstates.
What happens to vehicles you remove?
Where your vehicle will go differs from state to state. In one manner or another; your vehicle will be recycled. In most cases, it is crushed for the scrap metal.
How does Junk My Car make money?
The salvage market in general makes money through recycling vehicles. Junk My Car is no different in that once your information has been submitted to our service it is then sent to a towing company. The tower pays us for the vehicle and then in turn makes money from the recycling of the vehicle.

Will I receive a receipt once the vehicle has been removed?
When your assigned towing company contacts you to schedule junk car removal, you may request a junk receipt to be given to you at the time of removal or shortly after. You can also retrieve your junk receipt from within the Removal Status section.

Will I be able to get parts from the junk cars that you remove?
We do not sell or supply parts. If you are looking for parts for your car, you can use a part locator service such as GetUsedParts.com.
Do you sell or supply your junk cars to fund raisers or other events?
We only assist in removing junk cars and other junk vehicles. We do not sell or supply vehicles or parts.
Can you remove rubbish, such as old engines and yard waste?
We can only remove vehicles at this time. There is a pay service that will remove other junk items from old furniture and appliances to yard waste and renovation debris. This includes many things that your local garbage company will not typically accept. To schedule removal, please contact 1-800-GOT-JUNK (800) 468-5865. Do I receive any money for my junk car?
No. We are a free junk car removal service that removes unwanted junk cars from your property.
Will I receive a tax deduction when I junk my car?
Junk my Car is a free junk car removal service, it is not a charity. While you can receive a junk vehicle receipt to prevent recurring taxes on your car, you will not receive a tax deduction.
